Trem y Foel Letting Agreement

HOLIDAY LETTING AGREEMENT for the property Trem-y-Foel between the owners Mr. R. Brown and Mrs M.Brown, of 30, Deganwy Road, Deganwy, Conwy, LL31 9DG (mailing address for all correspondence) and:

  1. The rent shall be £…………… for this period. A non-refundable deposit of £30 is to be paid within approx. 4 working days of an initial email or telephone booking, (or from receipt of this agreement). The booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received and cleared and could otherwise lapse. Please make cheques in sterling payable to R. and M. Brown. The agreement is finalised on receiving the completed and signed letting agreement.
  2. The balance is due 4 weeks before the start of the booking (late bookings must pay in full). On receipt of the balance we will send by post full details of the property location and the arrangements for obtaining the front door key.
  3. The rent includes all gas and electricity, and bed linen. Bath towels are not included. The property is non smoking inside the house.
  4. Pets may be brought by agreement. A small surcharge is normally applied.
  5. The property is let subject to the condition that it is left as found at the commencement of the tenancy, and in a clean and tidy condition. Tenants are expected to arrive not earlier than 4 p.m. on the first day and depart by 10.00 a.m. on the last day.
  6. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the owners, the owners will not be liable for any accident damage direct or consequential loss, injury, expense or inconvenience, whether to person or property, which the guests or any other person may suffer arising out of or in any way connected with the letting howsoever caused.
  7. The owners are not liable for any unexpected or unusual circumstances which are outside their control, such as severe weather conditions, failure of public utilities, fire, flood, drought, terrorism, acts of riot etc, which may lead to the facilities offered becoming unavailable for all or part of a booking.
  8. Tenants are reminded that their personal belongings are not covered by insurance on the contents of the property and therefore are at their own risk whilst in or about the property for all purposes and reasons.
  9. The owners reserve the right to insist upon part or full payment for late cancellations (due and reasonable consideration given to circumstance).
