Conwy Morfa

For that lounge on the inflatable bed in the sun surrounded by sand this is the spot. Nice hideaway spots tucked in the dunes flanking the golf course to hang out although the beach soon becomes entirely stony in that direction (however I recommend the walk all around the golf course to the marina). The beach away from the car park to the W becomes more shingly above the high water mark but is otherwise a splendid crescent of sand to have increasingly to yourself.

By car head east on the A55 towards Conwy. Exit junction 17 (signposted marina, golf course), turn left and immediately left again. If busy you will have to find a spot to park along the road side rather than in the car park at the end of the lane.
From Conwy: follow the one way system through the town and continue straight on after the arch through the town walls. This road, the old A55, crosses the dual carriageway at junction 17 after a mile or so, then left as above.
