So if you're here in Llandudno proper, you're probably not lounging on the shingle catching rays. You're riding the donkeys, the rides on the famous Victorian pier, the cable car or tramway up the Orme, sampling the innumerable restaurants, taking a boat trip, strolling the promenade or just generally imbibing the ambiance and heritage of a classic Victorian seaside resort town.

Exit the A55 at junction 19 and take the A470 into town. At the fourth roundabout
turn right and continue straight to the sea then left along The Parade. Parking
possibilities all along but usually need to hunt for a spot. For the pier
continue all the way along and past the pier towards the Marine Drive
(the scenic road around the Great Orme) to a couple of sizeable paypark areas.
Alternatively approach as for the West Shore through Deganwy, then turning right down Gloddaeth Ave.
During the summer a "train" trundles up and down this avenue linking the North and West shores (£1.50).
